When the handle on Kingbird Carousel is turned the kingbird spins in his cage as the curtain opens to whichever side the handle is rotated. The two revolving trays spin with the handle as well. The tricky thing about the curtain is that there is a rare earth magnet clutch which enables the trays and bird to keep rotating while the curtain is stopped in its opened position.
