This small piece has cut out and nailed on metal folk art embellishments. When the center dial is pushed up and down the curtains raise and lower.

Circus Birds Treasure Box is a sweet little display box with a visible pulley mechanism. Instead of using the usual weighted pulls I used a sliding mechanism to lift the curtains.
